I’d give a million Blase’ Bucks to anyone who can show me an Anyone-produced anti-Dumpty ad that is 1/2 as good as the Lincoln Project one here.
One thing I never did understand during the Summer and Fall of 2024- and still don’t understand it- is why the Dems didn’t enlist a coalition of Lincoln Project and Bulwark former Republicans, and just do what they say, do it the way they say it, and just stick with that.
For that matter, why don’t they bring them in right now and ride that into the midterms?
2024.
Let’s review:
The Democratic organizations spent a BILLION dollars on old-school TV blabber that demonstrably didn’t reach beyond the Democratic choir, and we got Dumpty and Mike Johnson and John Thune instead.
So. What do we have to lose?
Because the way they ran it in 2024, we lost e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
We got nothing following the campaign wisdom of the Grand Old Democratic Party. Somewhere in the bible there’s a verse about telling a tree by its fruit, (That Matthew guy, I think) and behold: in 2024 we couldn’t beat a babbling felon, a pathological liar who has nothing more than a history of failures to back up his so-called business acumen.
Failures?
Babble? You want babble?
What’s Next?
What we need to do to wake these bubble-dwelling politicians out of their comfort zones is a National Civil Uprising. Nothing else will do; and timing will be everything.
The tipping point is 3.5%. Three and a half percent of the US population saying. “this far and no more” is all we need. “We’re mad as hell and won’t take this anymore.”
It has to be big, it has to be inclusive, it has to be peaceful, it has to be perfectly organized and funded, and I’m here to tell you, the Lincoln people and the Bulwark people know how to do this.
They have beaten us Dems like thrift-store bongos for years and they can help us do it to the MAGAe like nobody else can.
If not now, when?
